Both gold and purple sea moss offer the same health benefits and can be used in the same way. However, purple sea moss, contains powerful antioxidants called Anthocyanins, which are commonly found in purple fruits and vegetables.
You may also find that purple sea moss has a slightly stronger smell and taste than gold sea moss. However, due to our thorough preparation process, it is unlikely to alter the taste of any drink or food that it is added to.
Our sea moss is prepared to the highest standards and washed thoroughly before being made into a gel. You should find that the gel is virtually tasteless and will not alter the taste of any food or drink that it is added to. However, there may be a slight ‘ocean’ taste as our sea moss is grown naturally in St Lucian waters, and a slight taste of lime, as this is used during our preparation process to thoroughly cleanse the sea moss before blending into a gel.

Our sea moss gel is made to order and will be dispatched within 24-48 hours of receiving your order. Please note that any orders placed on Friday will be sent out the following Monday to enable the sea moss to be delivered as fresh as possible. Orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24 delivery. We ask that you ensure someone is available to receive your order, as we are unable to provide refunds or replacements for any missed deliveries. If you do miss your delivery, please collect it from your local customer service point as soon as possible and refrigerate once received to avoid waste. There is also an option to request redelivery for the next day, if you will be available to receive your order. Large orders may arrive in multiple packages to lessen the chance of breakage.
